Emma formed the Evva&Emma Duo with Polish cellist Evva
Mizerska in 2003. Since then they have performed in many European
countries and in UK venues such as Fairfield Halls, Cheltenham Hall, St
Martin-in-the-Fields and Blackheath Halls.
Recent performances include successful appearances at the
Salzburger Schlosskonzerte, the Aldo Ciccolini Musical Association
(Naples) and the Pump Room (Bath). They have just released their
début CD with Toccata
Classics - a world première recording of complete works for
cello and piano by the contemporary Polish composer Krzysztof Meyer.
Although they have an extremely wide repertoire, they particularly
enjoy performing contemporary music and have given several world
premières, including Two
Romantic Pieces for Cello and Piano by Stephen Dodgson, Numen by Piotr Grella Możejko and Blue Note by Weronika Ratusińska.
Since 2007 they have been giving concerts throughout the UK
for
the Music in Hospitals scheme.
